Our specialist workshop in Sussex brings together design expertise and skilled craftsmanship to create furniture tailored to the character, proportions and practical demands of each space. From a single commissioned piece to a wider project, we work closely with interior designers, architects and private clients to translate ideas into carefully resolved furniture.

Our bespoke capabilities encompass cabinetry, shelving, dining and coffee tables, reception desks, boardroom tables, sofas, benches and upholstered seating. We can also adapt pieces from our core collection, exploring alternative dimensions, materials and finishes to suit a particular brief.

Each commission considers how the furniture will look, feel and function within its setting. Proportions, comfort, storage, access and durability inform the design, alongside the choice of timber, upholstery, hardware and surface finishes.

A collaborative approach; some projects begin with detailed technical drawings; others start with a sketch, a reference image or a conversation. We can work to an established specification or develop a concept collaboratively, helping to define the design and identify suitable materials and construction methods.

Discussing budgets and timescales early allows us to make informed recommendations and establish a clear direction. Throughout development, we balance the design intent with the practical requirements of manufacture and everyday use.

From concept to completion our process takes each commission from the initial brief through design development, quotation, technical detailing and manufacture. Drawings, specifications and relevant material samples are reviewed and agreed before production begins, giving everyone a shared understanding of the finished piece.

For projects involving fitted furniture or joinery, we coordinate relevant dimensions, access requirements and interfaces with the wider project team. Delivery and installation requirements are considered as part of the agreed scope.
