Dare Studio was established in 2009 by Sean Dare following a 12 year career as a Furniture Designer

creating designs for multiple high end retailers and manufacturers including Herman Miller, Ercol and

The Conran Shop.

​

Now in it's 14th year, Dare remain true to the original intent of producing honest, well crafted designs

with a highly considered function and purpose.

We are a family run SME with a core focus on designing and producing exceptional furniture manufactured to the highest standards in our dedicated workshops across the UK and Europe.

​

Our size and accommodating attitude allow us flexibility in terms of creating furniture solutions (often bespoke), meeting budgets and delivering on time, every time.

​

We specialise in creating products with a residential aesthetic built to contract specifications.

Our focus covers three core areas of production; solid timber, upholstery & metalwork.

​

In 2020, we opened our prototype / small batch production facility allowing us to cater for more bespoke projects including reception desks, banquette seating and fitted joinery.

​

Based in a former Victorian coach works on the West Sussex coast, we supply a network of leading retailers, dealers, architects and interior designers around the world.
